Founded in 2016, Spring Farm Sanctuary was one of the pioneering farm animal sanctuaries in Minnesota. Our journey has been one of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to giving farm animals the brighter future they deserve. But as any sanctuary knows, this path is laden with challenges.

.In 2022, after years of tirelessly caring for our beloved animals, my partner Buck and I made the tough decision to retire. We began the process of finding new homes for some of our cherished residents. However, life had other plans, and unforeseen challenges shattered our retirement dreams.

 Amid these unexpected hurdles, we decided to pause the transfer and provide a permanent home for the animals who remained. This choice, while heartwarming, has been physically, mentally, and financially challenging.

Now, more than a year later, we find ourselves self-funding our sanctuary, as many supporters and donors have drifted away. The burden has been heavy, but we're determined to persevere.

Among our beloved animals are three gentle steers, relying on us for their daily sustenance. Each day, they consume $21 worth of hay, totaling $630 per month. Our heartfelt wish is to secure support to provide for them over the next seven months, amounting to $4,410.00.
